Custom Order Terms

Last updated: 10 October 2026

These Custom Order Terms apply to personalised prints — prints made from your own photograph of a car or motorcycle, with optional registration text and personalised wording or instructions ("Custom Prints"). They form part of our Terms and Conditions. Please read these terms carefully before placing a Custom Print order.

1. Pricing

Custom Prints cost £5.00 more per print than the equivalent standard print size, to reflect the additional work involved in preparing a personalised design. This surcharge is included in the price shown on the order form and at checkout — there is no separate or hidden charge.

2. Preparation and dispatch times

Custom Prints take approximately 4 working days to prepare before they are dispatched. This is in addition to our usual delivery time once dispatched. If your submitted details are incomplete, unclear, or if your photograph is unsuitable for printing (see section 5 below), preparation may take longer, and we will let you know if this is the case.

3. Your responsibility for the details you provide

When you place a Custom Print order, you are responsible for checking that the photograph, registration text (if included), and any wording or instructions you provide are correct, complete and exactly as you want them to appear before you submit your order. We prepare your print based on what you give us. If a registration, spelling or instruction is reproduced accurately but is itself incorrect — for example, because you entered it incorrectly — this is not a fault on our part, and the position is different from a mistake that we make in preparing your print (see section 7).

4. Rights to use your photograph

You must own the photograph you upload, or have the permission of whoever owns it, to use it for your Custom Print. By submitting a photograph, you confirm that you have the right to use it in this way. We will not use your uploaded photograph for marketing, social media, or any purpose beyond producing your order, unless you give us separate, explicit permission to do so.

5. Image preparation, AI-assisted tools and photo quality

We may use AI-assisted tools and photo-editing software to remove backgrounds and to sharpen, clean up or otherwise enhance your uploaded photograph where this is needed to produce a good-quality print.

The quality of your finished print depends significantly on the quality of the photograph you provide — including its resolution, focus, lighting and framing. Our order form sets out minimum and recommended image specifications to help you submit a photograph that will print well. If we review your photograph and consider it unsuitable for printing to a good standard, we will contact you before proceeding, to ask for a replacement image or to discuss your options. We do not proceed with printing a photograph we consider unsuitable without contacting you first.

We do not currently offer a design proof or approval step before printing. Please check your photograph, registration and wording carefully before submitting your order, as set out in section 3.

6. Change of mind and cancellation

Custom prints are made to your specifications and are excluded from our change-of-mind returns policy. The statutory 14-day cancellation right does not apply to genuinely personalised goods. This does not affect your statutory rights if your print is faulty, damaged or not as described.

This exclusion reflects regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which does not give consumers a right to cancel goods made to their own specification or clearly personalised.

If you need to change or cancel a Custom Print order, please contact us as soon as possible at [CONTACT EMAIL], ideally before preparation has begun. We may be able to accommodate your request — for example, if production has not yet started — but we cannot guarantee this, and once a Custom Print has entered production we are unlikely to be able to change or cancel it.

7. Faulty, damaged, incorrect or not-as-described prints

The exclusion in section 6 applies only to change-of-mind cancellations. It does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if your Custom Print is faulty, arrives damaged, or is not as described — for example, if we print the wrong size, misread a detail you provided correctly, or make an error in preparing your design. In those cases, please contact us and we will offer a replacement, repair or refund as appropriate, and you will not be asked to pay return postage.

8. Contact

If you have any questions about a Custom Print order, please contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL] before or after placing your order.
